 What would you do if you didn't or simply couldn't fit in with society? This happens, happens all the time because humans suffer from Xenophobia, the fear of the unknown. And these other beings that exist are unknown. If you were one of these people what would you do? Where would you go?
Believe it or not, there is a place, hidden away from society's prying eyes for those unique being's who are not human. Lalito Island, a small island town located in Lake Michigan, made specifically for the beings that don't belong in the midst of human society. They live their own lives, and have their own problems, very different and very similiar to problems 'normal' humans deal with. Within the past few years, crimes have been beginning to worry the people of Lalito Island, with more and more new people coming here, criminal activity has been on the rise. People have been going missing for a while, and just rescently people have begun dying mysteriously, and they began to suspect the few humans, [normal humans who were also rejects of society] of being the reason for the disappearances and then the mysterious deaths. But now new evidence has surfaced to reveal that the killer [or killers] might be one of their own.
So come to this unique island, and be careful who you trust, because that person could be one of the killers. People are not always what they seem. Romances will blossom, friends will be made, enemies created, alliances formed. How will your story be written?
Welcome to Lalito, your every day small town with a unique group of people. Life is oh so different, yet very much the same here. So will you be affected by Xenophobia? Or will you be the unknown?
