HOGWARTS UNLIMITED
Ten years after the children of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Draco graduated from Hogwarts, the school was thrown into turmoil. They were threatened with closure once more. Though this time it wasn't from mysterious chambers or rogue wizards, but from lack of Ministry funding. The Ministry of Magic, having passed and new bill on Independent Education, withdrew it's funding and board of governors. The school eventually fell into disrepair. Many parents withdrew their children from the school. The house-elves quit. And the current Headmistress was unable to continue paying her teachers. So alas, the gates closed, and many feared for good.
Fifteen years drifted by. Many young revolutionist witches and wizards sought to overturn the bill and stimulate funding to the school once more. But many were unsuccessful. Until a small group of kids, whose names have been forgotten, protested for a trial at the Ministry, to discuss future funding for the school. They stood in the Ministry lobby for an entire month. Eating only dried Flobber Snax and drinking tiny bottles of Firewhiskey and water from the Ministry fountain. Eventually their cries were answered and a trial was scheduled. The Ministry refused to fund the school entirely, claiming that there was shorter stimulus and less jobs everyday. They agreed that if the group of protestors could travel around to known Wizarding benefactors and convince them that the school was worth saving, that the Ministry would split the funds for the school.
After many failed visits, the kids finally stumbled upon something that, in this day and age, was very unlikely. They discovered the last of the long line of Helga Hufflepuff. The granddaughter of one Zacharias Smith the First. They explained to the woman the school's desperate situation and the importance of having public Wizarding education monitored under such a great and historic school. The woman eventually agreed to split half the Smith trust with the school and the deal was done. The Ministry passed the bill stating that funding would henceforth be split between the two parties. \
Witches and Wizards traveled from far and wide, many were renowned Magical architects, to rebuild the crumbling school. New security measures were afforded, new portraits, new hallways, a completely new design. Within 3 years the work was finished and the school was opened again.

Subplot:
Hogwarts school is home to many different talents. Some talents stem from years of magical training. Some stem from unfortunate circumstances.
There is a war breaking out with the walls of the school. The several werewolves and half-werewolves around the school are banning together to form a Pack. The Headmaster, without any other ideas on what to do with such a large number of werewolves, has issued a clear statement that "all wolves of any type, shape or size are to stay in the Forbidden Forest from the time they transform to the time they return to normal. All resident 'wolves' are to be administered the wolfbane potion regularly during each moon cycle. Any found in noncompliance will be suspended and sent for treatment at St. Mungo's."
As was expected, there are several wolves who don't appreciate being confined to a forest, however large, and are beginning to ween themselves off of the wolfbane potion. The Headmaster, having feared and expected this, has formed a legion of the few Animagi in the school. The legion's job is facilitate and watch over the wolf pack, in case things should go horribly wrong.
Already there have been students turning up missing, mysterious trails of blood leading to the forest. Are you dedicated enough to learn the art of the Animagus? Or will you fall victem to the wolf pack?
