 Welcome to The Living Nightmare.
Have you ever suffered from a depression so great that you didn't know what to do? Did your days feel dark, long, and tiresome? Were you often contemplating on suicide, all because you didn't have a place to vent?
Or did you know someone that was going through did? Did you witness something first-hand go down? Does it haunt you in your dreams? Are you just trying to get by in today's world? Do you not know where you "fit in" at?
Here on The Living Nightmare, we all are going through something traumatic. Maybe you explode all the time, and you don't know why? Are you always angry at the world? Need a place to vent? You've come to the right place.
This is a world where characterization becomes life-like. Where daily events are charted for your imagined characters - either based off yourself, someone else, or your own imagination. Here on T.L.N. we strive to make it feel as "real" as if it were ourselves going through it.
We take away the basic format where you have to have someone to role-play with, and replace it with posts for your character's daily events. (With one category for interactive role-play). What did your character see?
Choose to allow comments direct on the Journals, or to be restricted to the "Commentary" Board alone, to allow for uninterrupted story-telling.
What's better? There are boards specifically geared for each month in the "Daily Living" category. This is set up like a journal, and is made specifically for story-telling only by the author. Update as you see fit - when your character made a dairy post.
